Definition of EV (electric vehicle)

An EV is a shortened acronym for an electric vehicle. EVs are vehicles that are either partially or fully powered on electric power. Additionally, BEV (short for Battery Electric Vehicles). Compared to an internal combustion engine, battery-powered electric vehicles have approximately 99% fewer moving parts that need maintenance.

However, most BEVs are powered by Lithium-ion Batteries, which, due to their current reputation of thermal management - makes them ready for smart solution like MicroWire sensors.
