RVmagnetics MicroWire sensor provides measurements in a contactless nature. We gather the measurements with a sensing head; it consists of two coils: The Excitation coil generates a few milli-tesla - mT (or a few Oersted - Oe) of magnetic field, thus exciting the MicroWire. The second, sensing coil gathers the response of the MicroWire through the magnetic field.
