Definition of Magnetic domain

Generally in magnetic materials or alloys it is possible to find the areas with uniform magnetisation, which are called magnetic domains. Magnetic domains are bordered by the domain wall, in which the magnetic moment is changing its direction. MicroWire represents the magnetic sensors functioning on the principle of domain wall transfer (propagation) when the time of transfer is measured and provides information about the physical quantities surrounding the MicroWire.
