Sensor precision is often mistaken for the term accuracy.
The sensor can be precise, even though it is not accurate.
For example when we are measuring 1V with a voltmeter, and we measure four values: 2.1V, 2.0V, 2.05V and 2.1V. Measurement was precise (always obtained almost the same value), even though the voltmeter is not accurate, as the measured value is double of the real one. The precision of the device is represented also as uncertainty.
